That character sounds cool!
I made a character similar to that.
He's an elvish shaman that invites spirits into his body to aid him in combat.
However, some spirits tend to follow him (both good and bad).
Yet another character from my DnD games. This character's a bit of an odd one. I took a lot of different stuff I've seen and kinda mashed it all into one.
For starters, they're actually a combination of two people; one of a wise mentor, Yakov; and another of a little girl suffering from trauma due to a wolf attack. This girl eventually ended up being absorb by an being known as an, "Umbral Shadow". These things exist solely on data and as such, absorbing the girl meant taking on her form and memories. Some stuff happens and eventually the shadow ended up combining with a Yakov at Death's Door. The combined memories and the half-human half-shadow body gave birth to this character, still confusingly going by the name of Yakov.
But in truth, they don't know exactly who they are. There's the life and memories of an old man, and the still early life of a girl. There's the side that thinks itself human and the side that thinks itself a shadow. It's one big giant identity crisis and how they grow will be dictated by how the players act around them. The big hurdle on my part, of course, will be playing the character correctly.
Side Notes:
Got the idea for the Identity Crisis after seeing Seth from SFV.
Umbral Shadows are directly ripped off from Summer Time Render. I had to do some rewriting to make them work for the setting, but they're more or less the same thing.
As for appearances, it's a combination of Ibuki from Danganronpa and Lisa from Lisa the Joyful
