So this is for the Tradigital C.O.T.M of Jazza.
So even though I wasn't home, and only had a sketchbook, my travel watercolour kit and my iPad, I REALLY wanted to do this contest. The moment Jazza said traditional vs digital I had this image of Da Vinci just falling in love with modern technology. (The Doctor was added as a "how would he get his hands on a tablet though?" and well "the Doctor of course!" was the answer in my head) I know some people might disagree, and might be right about other artists of any time before digital art was a thing, but Da Vinci was an inventor, and also very ahead of his times, and because of this, I believe he'd be very excited to try digital art and would enjoy it a lot.
I did the bulk of the illustration with watercolours and then added the tardis and highlights and shadows digitally. I tried recording while I painted, but only got a short 7 seconds clip because my iPad's memory is full. The other clips I recorded didn't save :(.

Here are a few screenshots and images of the progress as required:

Tardis reference:
(although I only drew a part of it since I knew the top and bottom wouldn't be visible.)
