"Now, I'm sure the lot of you are wondering why it is I have awoken you at such an hour - and why Nisuo is not here," Zazunue said as she stood in front of four other high ranking priests - and chief administrators of the Pillar Forest Priesthood.

"The question did cross my mind, I can't deny," Kolnuo said as he stretched. He adjusted his eyeband, which covered the most grisly lack of left eye in the room.

Across from him, the acclaimed combomancer Ozashue piped up and added, "I'd hoped it wasn't an emergency, but- " She looked at the serious expression on Zazunue's hooded face - "It's an emergency, isn't it?"

Inanuo shook his head, one part tired, and what part annoyed by his compatriots.

"Will there be an explanation forthcoming, Lady Zazunue?" he said, as he hoped to speed along whatever duty it is that they had been called for.

Zazunue nodded, and replied, "Of course of course, rest assured that I have not called you all here frivolously - in fact, this may be as concerning to you lot as it is to me."

"Oh really, now?" Kolnuo said, with a raised brow over his functional right eye, and crossed arms.

"Yes. Just earlier, I was awoken by a young bespectacled priest who informed me that their sister - an outterhood laborer, apparently - had been assaulted by a bandit who had, knowingly or unknowingly, unsealed the Urgan Temple," Zazunue began, with a lowered head to emphasize her words.

Inanuo's face hardened at the mention of a bandit, Kolnuo uncrossed his arms at the mention of the temple being unsealed, and Ozashue furrowed her brow in consideration of the implications of both of those facts together.

"In addition," Lady Zazunue continued, "That very laborer attempted to pursue the bandit, and was attacked by an unknown entity from within the temple itself."

Silence reigned for one moment, before Inanuo spoke up.

"That... is far from favourable," he said, frankly.

Ozashue suddenly gasped and said, "That entity could escape at any time, if the temple is unsealed, and if someone like a bandit had broken in, then there's no telling how angry the entity itself might be!"

"Bless me, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this ain't it," Kolnuo muttered, mustering one hundred percent of his seriousness.

"What're we going to do about this?" he asked.

Zazunue paused for a moment, before she answered with, "Simple."

"We will stake out the base of the pillar until morningrise. Grab supplies and subordinates, and meet me at the Consturna Pillar. This is of utmost importance!"

"Yes Lady Zazunue!" they all said in unison, before they turned to do as instructed.
