Mytryoshka

Share

This was inspired by the Russian nesting dolls (Mytroshka). The drawing is assembled from tiles that are in turn assembled from smaller tiles that are assembled from pixels.

This is my second (but also my first), more developed attempt at nested/fractal pixel art. I started this one before I did Mytryoshka Skull, but I finished the skull much faster. I had to start over from scratch on this one.

There are three layers of Matryoshka Dolls; you may have to zoom-in and back out again to experience the full effect. Ctrl++ (or View -> Zoom) will cause blurring, but will work well enough on most browsers.

Mind-boggling

The way your brain works boggles mine, but you make great art. This is an excellent piece.
