Ahoi!
I'm in the middle of several large projects and wanted to make something small. I was taking a look through one of my sketchbooks when I found a page of several #spritedraw ideas from a few years back and decided to pick one to bring to life. Coincidentally, my other two #spritedraw creations, a few other ideas in my sketchbook, as well as this one, all spawned from a single sprite sheet. For those who don't know what #spritedraw is, @OutlawEric launched a sprite generator on his website, prompting artists to draw what they see within the sprites. Give it a shot, it's super fun!
This painting took a bit longer than I had anticipated because for some insane reason I decided to make it UV-reactive. Here's a picture of it under a blacklight!
