Insane amount of detail on this. The concept is totally fucked up, the whole theme is grungy and meaty and creepy, and it looks like something a demented, psychopathic witch would make to put up in front of her house to scare away people. I love it.

Ahoi!
Figured I'd start this year off with a lil' something I've been working on over the course of the past week. I recently received a new XP-Pen Deco 01 V2 from NG's Drawing Tablet Giveaway, and figured that this idea that's been floating around in my head would be fun to test it out on. It's probably pretty apparent that this is inspired by the creatures of the Silent Hill series, as I've been playing through the series pretty much non-stop over the course of this past month or so.
It was pretty fun working on this and figuring out various different methods of digital painting- something I've rarely ever dabbled with as a watercolor/acrylic/oil painter. (Good lord, having an "undo" option in IRL painting would be a game changer.) Maybe next time, I'll record/stream the progress for a time-lapse video or something. I'm somewhat anxious and camera-shy so I often opt for more reclusive and quiet settings but we'll see.

w....what is that?
thanks, i hate it.
(just joking, this is terrifying holy shit)
Cool! Would prefer if it had more gore though
Fair criticism, I actually kinda agree. I wanted to experiment with subtlety and implication rather than flat out gore, etc. I was even thinking of adding in pipes around the crotch area or going a lot heavier with the waste/bile and blood. Maybe in the future I’ll get a bit more gnarly with some of these creature designs :)
AMAZING!
