Atlantean Arbitrium

Atlantean Arbitrium
18x24 Acrylic (+UV) and Ink on canvas

Deep below the violence and treachery of light lies a crushing darkness
The weight of choice, a puppet with two hands, looms at the crossroads
Disruption of the code, breaking the sequence and rising above all; empty and heartless
Or welcoming the warm embrace of love, a fascinating and beautiful cestode
Humble and patient in their steps, a true seeker will make a greater discovery
For there lies a third path, contra-distinct, pure, and hidden, yet omnipresent in its majesty.

(It is beauty that neither us nor them could ever understand…)

Thank you very much for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

So much detail!!! The flare of color between the horns really stands out against the artstyle otherwise, with a lack of outlines particularly. Makes me wonder if it would've been better with, or if it's a contrast that makes it better. So awesome to look at this though. The color. The form. The mountain of decadence upon which the beast towers, like he's sucking in the life energy of all those who dare come near and riveting it right through his forehead...

Though you paint quite the description of that too! Overall this just: pure awesome.

Thank you! Outlining is always a pivotal point in production for me- to outline, or to not? I always worry that it'll ruin the flow of the piece. Glad you enjoyed!

Terraria and Binding of Isaac developers are cooperated and now Super Moon Satan boss confirmed!

Love to get a print of that

Trippy, but I dig.
