It's frustrating to see a potential piece stunted by school project parameters. Like a diamond in a pile of shit, the frog and the grass are superb, the sienna behind him is nice enough, but outside of that...it almost feels like you were being lazy or just didn't know how to finish it. I would love to see you transplant the insides of the oval into a different picture. You are awesome at black & white, by the way, but I like the colors you've chosen for this one. Is it me or do you also see the subtle fish fin rising out of his back?
