The use of corrugated plastic for the cutout is very telling, as it's a glossy, imitation substance on which marker is very easily smeared, much as it is under the fingers here. The way the character almost lurks behind it is very interesting, as is the fact they are still adjusting it with the lipstick.

I cannot believe how real it looks, It really does look like cardboard under a light, and the little lipstick smudges and everything look perfect. It's amazing when Photorealism works perfectly, the little square fingernails are a nice touch too, your really stepping up the game, especially since every individual post is frontpaged now. How Wonderful

LiteralHat responds:

Heyo and thanks. I'm not going for photorealism, but I am proud of my knowledge when it comes to lighting subjects :] This one is a bit experimental in that regard though, I tend to keep my values less dramatic.

That's just fuckin awesome, really beautifully done. 👏

LiteralHat responds:

Thank you alot AkioDaku :]

This is like that one time I put up a front for my friends and family for years

LiteralHat I see you're back at again with that delicious juicy symbolism, it's simply "cheff's kiss". A very relatable situation for most. Nicely done

LiteralHat responds:

Thank you, it's an artistic direction I want to continue driving into.
