Ever wondered what the Mona Lisa would look like is she were drawn by a mediocre furry meme artist, instead of one of the old masters from the Renaissance? Step no further!

My buddy Leonardo da Vinci challenged me to redraw his OC Mona Lisa in my own style. Naturally, I obliged. This is the result.

Hope you enjoy my take on his character. I played very close attention to the original painting when choosing the colours, positioning the figure (those darn hands were a nightmare!), and recreating the background. If you look closely, I even added a bit of texture to the painting, to make it look all old and worn, like the real Mona Lisa! Ever wondered why the Mona Lisa is so yellowy looking? Well, it's a pretty dang old painting...

OK, I lied. I'm not friends with Leonardo. He was a bit before my time... I actually drew this for a contest on DeviantArt, so yeah...
