Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of February we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 228 people to reach our goal of 3,100 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in March!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

Here's my submission for the Airscape Art Contest that I made in a day. So I took the advice I got from my last submission about fixing up the Photoshop elements and working with them a bit. If you guys have any advice for me, I'd love to hear your input. Enjoy!

how did you make it look like playdoh? i love the style

ManuelTacoface responds:

I actually did use clay, although it wasn't playdoh, it was a brand of modeling clay called Claytoon lol. If you're going to do clay sculptures, Van Aken clay is always the way to go imo. Also thanks for the rev man and be sure to follow me as well!

So much fun!

ManuelTacoface responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it dude!

i like the clayful style you have going on. The colors and lighting are also super well done. Love it

ManuelTacoface responds:

Thanks for the rev dude! I just really love clay, it's such an underrated medium and I thought since nobody else seemed to be mixing clay with Photoshop, I outta be the one to do it lol.

Cool artwork! The use of clay figures really makes this piece stand out. Nice touch with the red lights on the planet. Mess around more with your depth of field. I'm seeing the alien floating away, but because everything's in focus I'm also seeing him as large as the planet.

ManuelTacoface responds:

Alright I'll be sure to experiment around with depth next time. Thanks for the positive rev dude and be sure to follow me as well!

Great work man. I like the way that the sun light also has its influence on the objects.

ManuelTacoface responds:

Hey thanks for the rev dude! Yeah those shadows have to be hand-drawn btw and it was such a pain in the ass to make, you don't even know lol. Glad you enjoyed it and be sure to follow me as well!
