this is kind of sad yet pretty at the same time.

Nice and dark
dark and disturbing. Colors and details are perfect as usual. I find no flaws or faults with it. It doesn't need any improvements either. It makes me wonder if the artist is trying to tell us something? Maybe a deeper meaning about life? Maybe he was just painting something he thought would be cool. Either way this is a truly great piece by an amazing artist!
~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Dont think it needs any changes its pretty awsome as is.

Wow, I am quite impressed by this. By the description, I thought you were saying at first that both Death and Bitterness were in this picture. Since there was no one with a scythe, I guess I was wrong. It seems like this is an image a lot of people can associate with. We have all had our days where everything just seemed to go wrong. Or maybe it was a metaphor for how smoking kills people?
The shading is wonderful in this as well. You get the sense that you're up close and in the action. Bitterness' skull seems to have a red tint to it. In fact, I seem to notice that a lot in drawings like this. Neither of the people look all that bitter. I guess that's hopeful.
You sound like you wrote from an experience
This looks to be a very personal piece, care to elaborate?
Nice shading and textures, the colors blend in and out of each other, which adds to the overall appeal. All in all it's very good.
Im not so sure elaborating my personal experience that inspired to this image would help any viewers to appricate it more. It would only tell a story that isnt unique at all.
If anything it could bring the image to a lower level, since this is my way of experiencing a moment. Much like you can't describe why the nightmare you had in wich your socks forced you to drink tea was the worst nightmare you've ever had, I can't tell the story that this image tries to tell.
I'm glad you like it though, and hope that you keep on doing that.
you have a amazing skill
its really sorta....indescribable.......
