Originally drawn during my Land Navigation class which was easy as limes after taking Army ROTC for a year. Ships are cool. Sea serpents are cool. Gradients are cool. Like half an hour worth of messing with various filters and crap, but as always, I enjoy the original sketch far more as I think some of the integrity has been lost in the process...

Whats a Krixig?

They look coo but what are they?
Anyways, I love the blue and white coloring and i like how it looks like its being created by echos. One problem is, if you where going for echos then you wouldn't see the reflection in the water. If you where not going for echos, please tell me what Im looking at, lol.

Krixig responds:

heh heh, theres traditionally no such thing as a Krixig, just some sort of sea serpent I guess. I have another pic of its face that Ill need to scan and work on at some point. As far as the waves? You could look at them as some sort of sonar that it emits and how it interprets the pulses that return to it, perhaps.
