This is piece for the #retrogameartchallenge over on instagram. Each week we pick a retro game and then make a piece based on it by the end of the week. This week was obviously the Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past. Anyone can join the challenge, just follow the hashtag.

I am not worthy too look upon this
I like to think that the monsters in the front are giving him some verbal smack as he is facing off the bigger monsters in the background.
The art here reminds me a lot of Crypt of the Necrodancer. Also, is that mace about to swing around and hit Link in the face???? Or I suppose it's intended to have already hit the shield, and is now deflected away. It does look a bit like the chain itself just hit the shield, and the mace might now swing around.
Regardless of Link's survival likelihood, this is well done - good job!
