Xiocotl's name is pronounced SHEE-OAK-ULL. Xiocotl is a Nahuatl name. Aztec is very hard to pronounce, I know.
This is some artwork of Xiocotl, one of my "fursonas". He is a shamanic bat, namely a Hoary Bat, a type of bat with tan fur that's "frosted" with silver. But instead of silver frosting, Xiocotl has dark blue. I will soon be making an animation about him, featuring the reason why his wings are so small and odd. And for the record, the black spines on Xiocotl's wings are actually bone. You'll figure out why he has bone sticking out of his wings in my animation.
If you look in the picture, you'll see the jewelry he wears, which are anklets made from bone and silver beads, and a turquoise bead necklace with a "fang" carved from a bull's horn.
