Wow, thanks for the frontpage!

This is a portrait/caricature of my friend Katie. It was one of my first experiments with digital painting. The disproportionate features were an artistic choice. I wanted to present an impression of her, not an exact duplicate.

It's nice. I think the only flaw would be the neck. It looks a tad awkward.

Nothing bad about it.

Very well done on your part. 10/10.
Keep up the great work.

Fun :D

i like the umproportioned-ness, it's semi-surrealistic.. looks great

your friend looks ALOT like the singer from Pomplamoose too! :O

Well executed

Overall the painting is very well doneâEU"your technique is impeccable so I won't go into that too much.

I will suggest that your caricature has dived pretty severely into the uncanny valley, in that it's rendered very realistically but has terrifyingly cartoon proportions. In other words, it's realistic enough in execution that the exaggeration of features comes off as less whimsical and more frighteningâEU"imagine meeting this thing in real life.

It's very well done, but it's creepy as all get-out. If that wasn't your aim you may wish to re-evaluate your combination of styles.

come on guys

does anyone read the author's comments anymore?
1.) yes it's a girl
2.) it's a caricature. Anatomy is irrelevant.
