COTT: Seafloor Observatory

Share

Seafloor observatory.

One of the covers of the upcoming graphic novels by P.J. Lang
This one took me quite a lot of time to work out. I had to figure out how to portray Elisa the exact moment she discovers the level is being flooded. Also drawing the whole place without a single 3d reference was a challenge, hehe.
Still I had lots of fun making the whole enviorment, and coloring every single detail of it.

Hope you guys enjoy it! ;)

Nice work! Reminds me of the game "Hydrophobia".

I really like this piece of art- it reminds me of Micheal Creighton's Sphere novel. The 'only' critique I would offer would be that if this is deep- below light levels- would be to darken the water beyond the glass panels. But I enjoy Elisa's reaction, as its very human. Keep this level of work up!

i want to save her! x(

the pic itself is really cool! 5/5

Are you actually doing book covers? Awesome! :D
