With a grin Kane picks up his King piece to place to the chess board to place the final move to finish the game, before he placed it down he said
"CHECKMATE"
Yes hello it is me, Kanesaki Hyudou with another art work, this time revolving around my OC more. I got the inspiration to draw this from the movie No Game No Life: Zero. I was quite touched with how it was. Compared to the anime No Game No Life's world, colorful and quite majestic and somewhat peaceful, the movie was barren and a complete warzone.
Anyways, i made this because of the most showcased game in the movie, chess, and the favorite catchphrase of the main characters in the sad part and the happy ones, which was CHECKMATE.
I procrastinated finishing this piece for 2 months cause school research projects and what not, but anyways i hope you enjoy this piece.

I really like this im an advid fan of boards of stuff like this and looks like you made a glass one and that was really cool, I would suggest a bit more shine and sparkle comming off the chess pieces but its a nice set and the whole art piece is pretty good.

Gets me thinking of the God of Gamblers, Kaiji. :) Such intensity in that final move! Love the contrast between the expressions - one of complete victory and one of utter loss. Stylish board, and smooth background too. Nice work.
