Faeries are a species that have adapted their bodies and trained their minds to wield magic. They are the pioneers of galactic colonization, being the first ever to travel between stars thanks to their arcane abilities. However, though they know their way around, they don't like to interact with other societies, preferring not to meddle in their affairs, staying hidden and helping out only when necessary; it is a rare sight to encounter a Faerie.

Faerie biology is defined by a hierarchy of reproduction, the more offspring one can produce, the higher up they are. In this sense, from top to bottom a faerie colony has: a King and a Queen, around 40 alates and up to 200 soldiers/workers, all of them doing their best to keep their mound supplied and safe, as well as venturing out to form new ones.
