This is my submission for Jazza's March 2016 Challenge of the Month. The season I chose to personify was autumn crawling her way into spring through a portal like hole within the same environment. The opposition between life ending in autumn versus the new life that appears in spring provided me with inspiration for this piece and the idea to portray autumn breathing in the new life and fresh air of spring.

This piece is mixed media: Water colours, markers, pencil crayons, and acrylic paint.

This is really amazing! The colours are super nice and work really well together.
I think Jazza is pretty lenient with the rules so you shouldn't have a problem with the autumn around the picture.
Good luck with the competition ^-^

Thanks so much! Good luck to you too :)

love this picture! the colors work really well together and the idea is portrayed really good
I just wanted to warn you that it might be a problem that you drew the autumn on the outside because I saw someone asked jazza and he said you cant do that, (draw the season of the person you'e drawing) I just don't want you to get disqualified with such great talent, so you might want to check
good luck!

Thanks for the heads up! Not much I can do unless I do a whole other piece haha. So hopefully it's okay, I explained why I did both seasons in the description. But nonetheless, if it is not accepted I had fun making it and am glad with how it turned out :)

Looks amazing! In my opinion, the idea and the execution are beautiful.
I see that I need to effort more in order to be a worthy competitor ;)
I wish you good luck!

Thank you! Good luck to you as well.
