Ember - Character Pose Sheet

This is a character pose sheet I did of my character Ember for a project last semester, mainly a mix of extreme and relaxed poses with facial expressions, originally sketched traditionally but with cleaned up line-work digitally.

Theres some parts to this that I'd def do differently if I were drawing it now, but I still like how it turned out, and it was really fun to draw since Embers already a fighter-type character, so I got to have fun with how crazy and action-y the extreme poses were, as well with the relaxed poses in contrast.

My favorite pose is the one of her jumping with a fiery punch and ponytail though, I love how that one turned out the most!

Good job on sketching out how your OC looks. I really admire the effort you put into your character by drawing several Poses & Expressions to interpret each Action & Emotion. I really dig the Art Style as well.

JWKLvstheUniverse responds:

Thank you so much for the kind feedback! I'm glad ya like my OC and poses, and that I was able to execute the emotions well through the character :>

Amazing drawings and art style ^.^ very well done. Is she a Mega Man OC? :O Her lims on the bottom look like something that would be found in the games and characters

JWKLvstheUniverse responds:

Thank you so much! ^v^ and not specifically a Mega Man OC, but when I created her I was inspired by Mega Mans big ol' clunky boots, I just thought it'd be fun to draw her with boots like those and kept it as I've gone, it's still fun for silhouetting the poses and action lines, and making her look more video game-y LOL
