Prophecy cavern

Author Comments

Written in stone tablets of old, the least of your concern inside the cavern is getting cold.
A prophecy, perhaps a few lay dormant thanks to you.
The hero that's supposed to spend countless hours to unlock everything, dark secrets no less.
Every confession made by the old prophets and everything personal of theirs.

Unlocking prophecies is no small undertaking and your stone monoliths look particularly ominous. They look like they would incinerate you if you attempted to unlock them on a whim. I'm assuming you would need protection spells and barrier spells prepared to withstand the initial "unlocking" energy waves that blast outward. Perhaps, similar to Elder Scrolls, the knowledge itself could burn your eyes. You would need technology or spellwork to simply view the information without going blind or insane.

In the end, it's important to remember that sometimes foresight can be as much a blessing as a curse.

Juststeven responds:

That would be a given to any lesser human who would daringly attempt to venture so far.
Not to mention do something not supposed to be seen or touched by the likes of it.
But not for a hero or stories, unless somehow the prophecy would dictate that he'd meet his end where he'd suppose to start.

Your drawings/paintings are really starting to take shape, I never used to know what they were. Your improvement as of late is huge. Good shit.

Juststeven responds:

I'm trying to get as much time to practice as possible, though my time's short.
