The Coffin Nail

The Coffin Nail!

Evil knows to run and hide when they hear an air compressor turn on in the darkness! Resurrected through sheer force of will, this rickety vigilante has massacred countless criminals with an egregious amount of pneumatic justice!

If these folks were in a cartoon I would certainly watch it

jouste responds:

haha good to know. I doubt very highly they would end up in a cartoon but that would be cool!

jouste responds:

thanks! glad you think he's cool!

jouste responds:

exactly! just sooo many nails.

you need to start world building to have a place to put all this insanity. not to be shoving my ideas in you face...but here's my idea how i think it would be best handled. go read king city by Brandon Scott Graham's. the would the story takes place in makes it clear that the plot that is being told to you is in fact not the craziest thing that has happened in that realm. the comic actively takes time to point out weird bits about the world that have nothing to do with the main story. it introduces you to characters that you will only hear about that one time and tells you about backstory and history that is completely irrelevant to anything thats going on in the plot, and i love how much detail is put in to the back ground and landscape shots, it makes the world feel alive like i haven't felt with many other comics. with the way you always putting more detail in to your art than necessary by giving just a hint of story and drawing your characters weapons and giving information on how they fight, i can't help but make a comparison.
