I love your line quality! Any pointers for someone who struggles with digital inking?

jouste responds:

hey thanks!
hmm, i'd say always draw BIG, keep that canvas huge so when you crunch it down it makes your lines look nice and focused. i usually make my canvas about 2800 X 3000 or so, and i take off aliasing on the brush and turn it into a pencil so the breaks are clean. Give it a shot!

you can also see me draw every tuesday on twitch where I go through my process pretty quickly

The characters look good, and the work is all neat, beautifull. But I am not able to understand what the creature in green blanket is. I am not able to make out its face. It looks lile a tree branch with no facial features. Thats just so unsettling, why no facial features there?

jouste responds:

branches has no face, and emotes through rustling his leaves and sometimes speaks through Bolo his bird. He is supposed to be unsettling and is secretly in love with Th'rrrr!

I like the character design, pretty original and creative.

jouste responds:

Wow! This is pretty weird, in a GOOD way.

I mean, I dig the character design and colors are DOPE as well as the idea of D&D with aliens. Fun combination.

jouste responds:

great! super glad that you dig it!

I've have the idea for a bit and really wanted to get it down.
