Battlesteiner!

Drunk on power and swinging two spiked warsteins, this brazen boxer is the ultimate champion of the barroom brawl! The golden ale that springs forth endlessly from his mugs gives him great fighting acumen but only inside taverns so be careful!

Have you done any artwork for games? Your art reminds me of Darkest Dungeon. :)

jouste responds:

I've done work for Shellrazer, Viking Squad, Crypt of the Necrodancer, and Griftlands. And Chris Bourassa (Darkest Dungeon Art Director) is my favorite artist in games.

drunken master?

jouste responds:

sure thing!
definitely one of those.

What if he becomes a traveling bartender, runs off into any random place and he just says "this place is my new temporary bar" or something like that, would the ale even work then? EDIT: Taverns I meant...I meant taverns, not bars

jouste responds:

I wonder if that would work, I think the place needs to have a history and have been used by a bunch of people.

Tavern Brawler is a must have skill for anyone who hopes to wield the mighty SPIKED-STEIN!

jouste responds:

Preach!
something you definitely need!

Wanted to make a DND character that used beer-mugs as brass knuckles, with the same stats as brass knuckles. Really just for fluff and not metagaming. DM shot me down though... What could have been.

jouste responds:

that's a shame,
would have been super cool! I like fluff like that. hopefully he lives on in Battlesteiner!
