Like it well.
Don't care if it is straightforward or not, it is great. I like the art style, and you have used it masterfully here. It looks wonderful.
I wish you had a high res scan of it though.

:P. But anyways this is one of your more "straightforward" works... Though I notice the transcendent "x" appears in this one just like your "pawned" piece, albeit a bit more visible.
Comparing television to alcohol, toxic, addictive, a depressant, etc. But also the fact that the "As seen on t.v." caricature almost seems trapped and wanting to break out of the glass. With such an ambiguous face, it's hard to tell if he's panicking and wanting to escape the glass (i.e like the glass on a t.v.), or trying merely to bring the viewer in.
This and the fact that the shadowy caricatures of persons in the background lead me to think of an almost wishy washy, "hollow" and darkened perception of human emotion and drama, to which all television subjugates.
Nonetheless, despite my ramblings, brilliant as always.
