Partigrades

Share

Partigrades; also known colloquially as wiggle bears, or boss piglets are water-dwelling, eight-legged, segmented micro-party-animals. The name Partigrada (meaning "funky stepper") was given to them due to their insatiable love for celebrations. They have been found to get down just about anywhere: from mountain top tapping to deep sea shimmys, even mud volcano raves. They'll rock in a rainforest and shake it in the Antarctic. Partigrades are among the most skilled dancers in any animal kingdom, with individual species able to boogie at extreme shindigs that would be rapidly fatal to nearly all other known functions, such as exposure to sick beats, extended tracks (both good and bad), deprivation of snacks, and starvation of attention.

Nice play on the words Party and Tardigrades, the concept and idea is pretty good, but the vague lines distract from the actual art piece itself (I am aware that you could have done that on purpose to emulate a microscope) great work in general though

JJColours responds:

It was to simulate the microscope, I felt they looked a bit more at home in a murky haze :) Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
