This game was (one of) the most awesome of all games on the SMS (8-bit). You get to ride a motorcycle, fly a chopper and even drive a speedboat. And everything clicks gameplay wise. You even needed to solve riddles and puzzles from time to time. This does great justice to a true classic. I really like what you did with the boss that has a hand for a head.
I believe I had heard of Alex Kidd, but never played any game he was in. I really liked this art piece because of how many things are in it. I appreciate how there's such a nice variety of colors used in this. A lot of people don't consider pixellation to be art, but you've proven it can be. I really have no idea what any of these things are supposed to represent. It's funny how some of these guys have hands for heads.
It's weird how the first rows are the same character. You then mix it up with by having a bunch of crazy looking designs. This guy looks like he has monkey ears or horns, perhaps. I know it's kind of hard to call those things similar, but they look alike to me. Everything's just nice and colorful.
Great work . .
you really have brought to life the sprites and added some great depth and detail . .
your only missing one thing . .
Ahh, memories. :D
Alex Kidd in Miracle World was one of the first games I ever played.
I like how the remade sprites have more depth and detail yet stayed true to the source sprites. Very nice sprite work.
great stuff, im sorry tho, i had a genesis D: no idea what the game is
