Gonna agree with the exort orb being too red, but that's nitpicky. I kinda wanna say I like the simple version the most, just because it's a really cool use of colors, and even though it's... well, simple, it's really obvious who it's supposed to be.
It was weird, because looking at your previous entry, it seemed a bit too different from the first one. I was interested to know how you would make this so much different. You truly did! The colors are wonderfully constructed here. It really does make you realize how disorganized the previous picture was. Even that managed to be a good picture.
It's kind of like a sort of speedpainting. We are shown different parts of the process. Of course, I have seen a lot of your actual speedpaintings. The balls of power or whatever they are, look great. The purple works so well too.
Really nice drawing of Carl. The exort orb could be a little less red, but that's just me being picky. Everything else is fantastic.
I think this one turned out great! By far my favorite one that you have done. The shading is smooth and clean, and as always your composition of this character is well done. People are saying that the armor isn't glossy enough, but I have looked over your other pieces countless times and I think that you executed the armor exactly the way you wanted to. If you wanted it super glossy I'm sure you would have made it that way. Over all it is great and can't wait to see your next one.
there's nothing wrong with his face. if anything it's more honestly-done than others. I will say that on this one the armor lacks a good sheen, but there's a lot to appreciate about the shape of it and the glow-effects at work here. Really, the thing I like the least is the color of the golden plates. The white parts come off soft, but tough, like they have a kind of ceramic texture, looks good to me.
