Anne (Sasha and Marcy too) were supposed to be 16... they are canonically "13" just for marketing reasons... Ever saw a 13y/o girl driving?

So recently I learned that both Anne and Molly are 13 year old's. Am I the only one who was confused at first by this realization? Clearly, Anne's height is more accurate to the average 13 year old while Molly is just really short for her age. Btw I've been binging these cartoons nonstop and I'm loving every minute of 'em.
Some people are rather short for their age.
