Angry Rapper

Share

Well I finally got my first project done for my illustration class. The assignment was that we were given three random words; an animal, adjective and a character title which we were then suppose to illustrate into a kind of story. The anthropomorphic side of the object was to be as true to the animal's form as possible so hopefully I put this in the right category. The word combination that I received was angry rapper dog which I found kind of frustrating as it fit to well together and so I had no jumping off point really for a story. It was weird in class because I could come up with a ton of ideas and suggestion for other student's word combos then I could for my own. Everyone else got stranger combo's like Rhino Geisha Shopping which I thought was easy to come up with ideas for and how it would look in my mind.

This was done on coquille board with color pencils, total rendering time about 12 hours.
