The heart of the moutain

"Leaving, breathing, lurking, those words aren't made to describe mountains. But there are no better words to describe what I saw over the threshold of this kingdom. This is the maddening truth that I unearthed. In those lands forsaken by the gods each of your step leads you further into the cavernous maw of the abyss... This is why I abandon my mission, to save my life and to warn you, it is growing, and soon we will be a part of It"

report of Egnar Kaln, scout of Tolchieri

I watched once again the trailer for darkest dungeon 2 yesterday and it reminded me of Lovecraft mountain of madness. The more I thought to those the more I wanted to create something. So a few hours and a meal sacrificed to the artwork later I ended up with this. I am really satisfied with the result and the mood. Drawing landscape is so fun and malleable. It is always a pleasure to mold a something and to add more and more elements until it satisfy the vision I had. Sometimes I can't recreate properly what I see clearly in my mind but this time I am really happy with the result.

I hope you like it, don't hesitate to comment, have a nice day !
