(Victorian Princess Altiana)+*~_0

A colour version of Princess Altiana. I wanted to really capture the accurate colours, as well as the innocent childlike laughter quality of this image, and offset it with the delicate beauty, while framing the image with an effortless feel to it. I think I did pretty well - enjoy!

This version is the ecru version - meant to look like an old time portrait - enjoy!

P.S. This is my own original work - if you find this image elsewhere it is because I also own that account.

Your talent in art is much better than your music! You should stick to that my dude, you could go far with it.

Very beautiful and detailed, you are very talented.

Very soft colors, really fits.the flower patterns really adds to this too.

IoTheEternal responds:

Well thank you! I've been drawing since before I could walk!

I really wanted an elegant victorian style look here - I am glad I was able to pull it off :)

thanks for the review Svenzo! :)

Really beautiful work. I love the flower patterns and the double helix of hair. Looks like the cover to one of those American Girl novels my sister used to read. I think it could use more coloring, though. Pairing off-white with white and yellow doesn't really give the color scheme the contrast it needs for such a vivid scene. Still, the symmetry and aesthetics are gorgeous. Keep up the good work!

IoTheEternal responds:

it was for an ecru theme I did for an art gallery - which is that washed out pale ivory colour - it was supposed to also look old and victorian looking - I am personally very content with the look - so we shall chalk it up to personal taste :)

I do have a more saturated colour version of her though - as this image was saturated to go with the ecru theme - at some point I will upload it :)

thanks for the review!

There is a kind of fairytale fantasy-like look to it, like that of Ar tonelico doujin works, which I thoroughly enjoy. That's the first thing that screamed out to me, the general feel of this piece. It's like I'm listening to the melodious strains of Stellatram or Akiko Shikata when looking at this, and that already is a plus in my book.

I'm glad that it was this soft, too. Any harsher and it'd have taken away that otherwise ethereal vibe from the piece.

IoTheEternal responds:

Yeah I really wanted to go for that old wistful airy look - maintaining her innocence and grace - esp. the grace - I really wanted to highlight that :)

and wow you're really into the anime music hehe - most people would have no idea what you just referenced hahaha..

I am glad you liked it troisnyx! Thanks for always being there to support me!

thanks for the review girl!

IoTheEternal responds:
