New comic Monday! In today’s comic, E3 Hype Train, we missed it! We didn’t really forget about E3. We just weren’t terribly impressed with E3. Word from the crows is that this was the best E3 in years, but the hype was wasted on us. Nothing really shone through that caught our eye. We did get excited when The Last Guardian and FFVII were (re)revealed. But they are PS4 only games, and years ago we took the left hand path and both bought Xboxes.

We made fun of Fallout 4 a couple of weeks ago, and we still stand behind our “meh” for that particular series. I will admit that after watching the Fallout demo I was impressed by stuff and things. It hyped me for the possibilities there could be in the next Elder Scrolls game. Then, out of nowhere, Bethesda threw Fallout Shelter on the table and now I need it. I’ve never wanted a mobile game before so this is new territory for me. Plus, is it wrong for me to be excited about the tie-in game and not the game game? There is a catch though; I have to wait “a few months” because I have a damn android phone…

So really we weren’t dazzled by the best E3 in years because we don’t have the right equipment. Sea of Thieves looked nice though.

The last time I got on a hype train that big, all I got was a bunch of ducks and a re-skinned sign.
BONUS DUCKS!
