I need to step my shit up

Share

I always wanted to write a comic, so I wanted to start working on the designs for the characters and stuff, These are all the drawings you can see on my gallery, but just let me say one thing.

Early last year I started reading some horror stuff for inspiration, just the basic stuff (Lovecraft and Stephen king) but I went a little deeper and found the Interface series by mother horse eyes and it blew me way, and just made me realize that all the crap I had been writing from the past 3 years is just pure garbage, but I moved on and went for a smarter approach to my story telling, to the point I got something more "original", but still it wasn't good enough, It is never good enough.

early today I tried to start designing my characters with an art style that fits the comic I want to make, but I got stuck, like really stuck, so I started searching for inspiration to get the creative juice flowing, and found this:

The animation is a bit stiff in some parts, but the art style, sound design, music, and atmosphere makes up for it. To be honest, it makes me sad to realize that my first animation is just, some big bouncing boobies.

Anyways I'm a sucker for creepy stuff , so I wanted to recommend this to you guys, it isn't for everyone but just give it a chance. I'm still a little drunk, so sorry if it sucks.

Doesn't suck at all, just looks unfinished when compared to your previous stuff ~ Looks like something you can definitely put into a comic book (and I would love to read something like that too!) Thanks for sharing ~

I know, I was stuck for a while and didn't know what to draw, I just needed to chill and take my time. Think of this as a WIP.
