This took over 4 months, using Prismacolor 005, 05 & 01 Micron

Please stop telling me the skull is wrong and the horns are wrong, for those thinking I spent over 700 + hours looking at this and didn't know Please do not knit pick anatomy semantics and anatomical correctness. I dis-proportioned the horns deliberately. Thank you

That requires patience, something I dont have very much off. It's a very bad ass piece by the way! The story it tells, the faces under his tattered cloak, the gesture of his hands, the cold expression of death....the detail. It's awesome, loving it!!!

Thank you! Death has always fascinated me as it is the one final conquest of mankind's desire to solve the unknown. We gave Death a face because its easier to cope when you have an image to loth, or pray for, worship, fear or embrace. In my opinion death has been one of the most polarizing figures since the Black Plague, the image of death has taken so many images all the while reminding us of our own mortality. Glad you like it its your kindness that keeps me creating

Stunning, Really Impressive

4 months man? You definitely deserve a medal for that kind of patience.

I really like how clean this is too. And for a traditional piece, it shows that you put a lot of effort into this drawing. Great job man, great job.

Thank you!!!! i tend to put a great deal in to art (even minus deadlines) 1 part because Im compulsive and the other is the amount of escape it offers, to be able to shut out the noise of the world around you and feel ever single inch of your canvas as if it was a part of you, the relative emotion that comes from dedication time, resilience, and patience. but the greatest thing about art is the way it conveys its own inception into the viewers mind, how it makes them feel what they see and gather from the image in front of them. for that I thank you!

soon to be frontpaged, guaranteed . but the detail is insane, the lines in the background are perfectly straight and the shading on everything else is just perfect. they say its hard to hit perfection, but after 4 months youre damned close. great work, and the time you put into it shows.

Thank you so much!! I had a dead line to meet with a friend who was doing an art show at his tattoo parlor and since the economy isn't doing well he lost the funding for the show at the last minute. I tried to put at least 6 hours a night into this so its roughly over 720 hours worth of work and the paper size is 14'' x 17'' or 356mm x 432mm if you're on the metric system. Again so glad you like it and thank you so much for the great comments

A long time ago my mother said about a tatooed guy we saw on TV: "Boy, anyone can draw a skull and pretend to be a bad guy. I wish someone could draw a skull with sensibility".

I love skulls, but long periods of time pass inbetween times a skull lover has the opportunity to see a piece of art that's not just attitude. For me, this is one of these occasions.

4 months, woah !! So much detail in this drawing and it's not overwhelming at all. A very powerful piece I say you can be proud of this one. I only got one thing to say about it though.... add a watermark on your piece. There might be peeps that like to steal stuff like this :/ Happend to me before.
