Done on the iPad using Procreate (as usual)
Took a while to come up with the composition and the creature so I would say 10+ hours of work on this one.

Edit: Thank you for the FrontPage, A pleasant surprise!

Okay, here's my interpretation. The character looks a lot like Dad. I'm not referring to Dad from "Dad's Home", I'm referring to him from "Dad 'N Me". I never realized how many dads we had. Anyway, this is absolutely gorgeous. It's Dad about to kill or attack a kid.

That's quite depressing. I mean, this kid is absolutely adorable! It was unbelievable the sheer amount of detail you put into every one of his hairs. He seems to be part of nature. In fact, I'm pretty sure that was the intention, seeing as how his fingers are rocks. I can't believe this only has 3,000 views!

Interesting :) I love how interpretations differ so heavily from person to person, thank you for yours!

The painting did get front paged so I'm not trippin at all about the amount of views it got :)

Nice

You've done it again my friend. 5/5 on everything in the picture, from the yellow dots of flowers to the dead and twisted trees in the background. I love this. The tree monster must be very quiet for her not to notice. Fantastically moody art. I also notice that she is alone in the darkness with the sun ray only on her. Very well done.

Extremely well done, everything fits so well in place. I like the background the most.

icheban responds:

Hey thanks a lot man!

This has great color and composition. The monster's body and fur look realistic, and the girl very calm and realistic. Great

icheban responds:

Thanks! :D
