This is the fifth character model I've ever built. It is in blender, the texture was done totally in photoshop and uvmapped with with nothing fancy. I really don't know what I"m doing yet! But I'm pleased with how she turned out regardless. I learn some with every model I build. I started learning to do this about 20 days ago. I like to keep a track record of my progress. So this is a very good and clear 20 day marker for my progress.

nice work, looks like you rigged her too, how do you feel about learning in blender? you liking it so far?

Hyptosis responds:

It's pretty alright. I've messed with other 3d software and so far it is my favorite. I relaly need to do more in it but it's time ocnsuming and isn't paying the bills :P

Very nice! I'm a maya/zbrush kinda guy but I know blender has it's strengths. Even the hair looks good here and typically that's one of the hurdles people have trouble getting over. Don't know if you are already aware but over at mixamo . com you can auto rig any character under 10k tris for free, no facial system but the IK handles, fingers, and pole vectors are perfect, good stuff. :) Keep up the good work!

It looks pretty good. You can improve though, for example, the sixth one looks a little disproportionate. Aww, what the hell, I couldn't even draw that good. Reminds me of a sort of MAG hank.

First two pictures have disproportionate necks, and the picture with the electricity on her hand has disproportionate everything, other than that, damn good!

Her face looks weird from certain angles, but for a beginner this looks kinda good.
