Grassy Battleground

This is a battle background in my upcoming game. Characters fight on top of this surface.

Like some of the other guys mentioned, the POV \ Depth of the field seems a bit off \ unsettling with regards to this small patch of ground (that takes up a majority of the screen that the players will fight upon) and the very very blocky \ gridwork of fields in the background.

but since I just now saw how you plan on placing the units to fight upon this field in your news section it seems quite well for now!

On a different note if ya need another tester I'd be happy to do so for ya!

great

Just a suggestion. If you want to add more perspective, you can add a single tree branch popping out at the bottom of the screen or at left/right edge of the screen. So it'll be like we're watching the battle from a tree. Also, a depth of field would be a great addition. I think you should blur the mountain scenery a bit more.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to do better next time.

YUSS dirt uh i mean grass

It's a nice work of art, but the perspective seems a bit off with the curved background stone wall thingy. If I look at the top half and then the bottom it just doesn't look right. This isn't really a complaint with the artwork and more with that if you introduce RPG sprites it will look weird from a gaming standpoint. That is, unless you have some sort of cinematic camera that zooms in on sprites selected/acting. Then I could see it possibly working.

Hyptosis responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be more careful next time.
