So, context. Cecil is an orphan that Huitzil protects with his life in Darkstalkers. Nothing I say can sum it up better than this. So in the Multiverse AU, Lilith forms from a piece of Morrigan's Soul, similar to how Multiverse Namine or Sheik was made. In the main timeline, Jedah found her and used her as his pawn. In this alternate timeline, Huitzil and Cecil found her and made fast friends. Also, in the main timeline, Pyron was killed by Demitri years ago, but returned in Majigen. Here, Huitzil defeats his former master, but at the cost of his life. In the original game's arcade ending for those two, Cecil gains control of all the other Huitzil robots. Here, Lilith manages to reunite with her body and nab him even more friends. Kid probably needs them considering he just watched his guardian fight to the actual death.

Morrigan: "I'm not sure how I found you here, but I'll see to it that Makai treats you like royalty~We can even go see other worlds together if you want."

Hsien-Ko: "Poor thing, we won't let anyone hurt you, right, Sis?"

Felicia: "Feeling down? Me and my girls can sing for you! We can play tag, hide-and-seek, piggy-back rides, whatever you want!~"

Q-Bee: "You're not zzcared, are you? I can make you a Soul Bee like me! No? Okay then, I'll juzzt keep you out of harm'zz way~"

  You know, considering alternate universes and timelines usually get the shaft, (Hell, the Vanitas and Master timelines in the Multiverse don't fare well) this is probably a better outcome than most.
