9 AM

    Something is clearly wrong here. I saw so many people in town, their hair tied up in familiar hair buns, and many of them wearing clothes I’ve seen before. They were like that Aoi Asahina girl. I couldn’t tell you why. They didn’t see it as anything beyond normal, but I could tell something was up.

10 AM

    My attempts to find the real Asahina for answers have proven fruitless. I decided to look to the smartest mind I know in hopes of solving this. Kyoko Kirigiri, the Ultimate Detective, if  anyone can solve this, she can. Or at least, she could have. By the time I found her, she had shed her coat and tied her hair up like Asahina. I didn’t want to abandon hope so quickly, so I gave her a word-search to see if she really matched Aoi’s intellect, or lack thereof. Astonishingly, she finished it quickly. But then she couldn’t even tell me how she did it, getting distracted gawking at my pigtails. She probably wasn’t going to be much help with an attention-span like that.

11 AM

    I continued searching, doing everything I could to avoid contact with the hordes of Asahina-clones I passed by. They were all happy and giggly, it got grating fast. I let out a sigh, wondering if this was all just a dream or something. I formed an image of Aoi in my mind, keeping it ingrained into my memory so I could hopefully discern her by the time I find her. That swirly hair bun; those big, blue eyes; that absurdly shapely body; I could see why she was always so happy with a body like that. I pondered it a bit, realizing that Kyoko actually looked a lot more, ahem, womanly than usual, she could almost pass for Asahina herself. If you’re colorblind at least. I wonder if I could get a body like that. Hm? Oh, it seems I stopped walking. I shouldn’t let my own thoughts distract me from finding…Um, who was I-Oh right, Asahina.

12 AM

    Still no sign of the real Asahina. I was getting a bit desperate and tried asking all the people mimicking her, but they just justified their new “style” with non-answers like “Asahina is so cool!” or “I just felt like it.” Nothing but blissful ignorance. I felt like a needle in a haystack with all those swirly hairstyles. Sure, my own pigtails were all fancy and swirly, but they weren’t like Asahina’s. People kept gushing, saying my pigtails were cute, and it started feeling patronizing. I found a good spot to undo my hairstyle, tying them into far simpler pigtails, though when I saw my reflection in a store window, the new style reminded me of Aoi…

1 PM

    I think it’s happening to me too. My fancy outfit doesn’t really fit well anymore. So I went to one of those clothes stores where they were giving out Asahina outfits and got one in black. It looks so cool! I-Oh goodness, what am I saying? I’m talking like a fool. Is there even a way to undo this? My head is spinning, I need something to cool off.

5 PM

    I went swimming for 4 hours. I felt so alive and happy swimming laps, and now I’m rewarding myself with a donut. I really am just losing myself to this Aoi-thing, aren’t I? I didn’t even wanna try cooling off at a casino or something, my mind just jumped to swimming. Weird. I’m having a hard time remembering why I was gonna look for Asahina, I wanted to know what she was doing with everyone. Or…I think that’s what I wanted to ask. Maybe I wanted to just hang out? I don’t know. Was I even looking for Asahina? What if I was looking for someone else? Ooh, Makoto! He’s cute! Maybe I was looking for him! Yeah, that’s it!
