I've been watching a lot of urban sketching videos on YouTube and it seems like just the coolest thing. I really want to get into it, but I have a few problems:

1. I don't live in or near an urban.

2. The thought of drawing/painting in public terrifies me.

3. The only time everyone LEAVES ME THE HELL ALONE is late at night.

So for the time being, my "urban" sketching will be more like "pexels" sketching. I guess purists get upset about that, but tough.

Anyway, I used the Prima Marketing tropicals watercolor set and the only dark paint it has is this violet color, so you can see I struggled to mix dark values that weren't some variant of purple.
