It's the David Cronenberg/John Carpenter crossover everyobody wanted!
The Fly managed to impregnate someone before he died and the result is this little girl. Instead of being shunned by society, she has a rather decent upbringing and for her 6th birthday she is given a puppy! But not just any puppy, a wonderful, shapeshifting, oozy, slimy puppy infected with John Carpenter's Thing! Isn't he adorable?
