"That thing was too big to be called a sword. Too big, too thick, too heavy, and too rough, it was more like a large slab of iron.” - Berserk (My favorite quote from the series)

----------

If you have checked in with my social, you must have seen my response to Miura’s passing. This is the first time that someone I had taken the utmost inspiration from just go. I have followed his work for almost six years and I can not comprehend the feelings of those who followed his work for the past thirty years as well. It is still hard to grasp his death, but I felt that making one small tribute to him would help me realize it. His work to me was unimaginable. Simply knowing that Miura put his fullest efforts and talents into a manga series for over thirty years gave me the drive and hope to do the same. His craftwork, abilities, and art are phenomenal to me and awe-inspiring. The amount of detail, composition, and concepts were exceptional. Miura was a master of his craft, and one that has read Berserk can clearly see his progression and passion. He left behind a masterpiece no matter how unfinished it was. However, knowing that we will never see the truest ending in Miura’s vision is what pains me the most. Regardless, it was apparent that in Berserk at least some glimmer of hope was given. With his influence, I am sure those who followed him will take up on that hope. Thank you, Kentaro Miura. Rest In Peace.

[I apologize if you see this same statement on my other socials, this was originally written on my notes in advance. thank you.]

Who will continue the berserk franchise, who will finish the story with Griffiths death and his empire falconia burned to the ground.

A sad day that was. RIP to the legend.

I’m sad, but this is such a great tribute! I’m so happy to see the Berserk community come together in such a time. The dude lived a long life, I’m glad he lived long enough to help create & tell the story of Berserk. Thanks man, this is truly awesome. I may not be the biggest Berserk fan but I definitely know about it (including the story & characters) & I am here to support the community on the passing of the man who helped create it. I hope The Berserk franchise continues for years to come. What a great tribute to the man, fantastic job my guy! ☺️❤️💯🔥
