Growing up with a Sega Genesis/ Mega Drive I didn't have access to Megaman but I had his green, orb-bot counter part Vectorman! (I went to my friends house for Mega Man X https://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/biggrin.gif ). 

The music and visuals were super impressive for the time, with lots of detailed effects going on, it was captivating as a kid. Today it's still impressive in it's own right and fun to play. 

So, this is part 1 of a fanart series I wanted to do for platformers. So you'll be seeing plenty more characters if ya stick around. Sega, Nintendo, Galaxy Trail, Capcom, Way Forward!
