Archdemon of the Nyr Shadow Knights. A cruel, sadistically playful hunter, Baelroth is the leader of the Shadow Knights, who have been tasked with defending the Nine Gates for the last several hundred years. 

Baelroth is the type of Wayfarer who welcomes and embraces the hungry, monstrous side of their kind. He takes great pleasure in the hunt, toying with his victims before bringing them to a slow, tortuous end. Unlike many other Wayfarers, he welcomes the beastly transformation the moon brings, and has not once succumbed to frenzy. He lives a lifestyle of excess, hoarding powerful artifacts and indulging in the pleasantries of life, wherever he may snuff them out. He shares a fierce rivalry with his fellow Shadow Knight, Jezebel, who he urges to embrace her ability of dominance and right to rule, hoping to one day wed her. 

He holds a particular attachment to Hell, one of the Nine's realms, and believes he may find the ultimate pleasure there.
