Sand clouds COLOROFLOSS

Share

Original illustration by Jazza.

I tried to emulate the sensation of a cloudy and dark day but in its equivalent in a post-apocalyptic sandy world. I focus on giving a feeling of volumetric light through the dust, and with it creating the ghost, leaving it more vague. The scenery and its atmospheric properties served well for a natural vignette effect and also its color, I kept it visually monotone, even though in reality there are many values and sub-tones to give this dramatic touch. All of this to try to push the feeling and the scenario.

(Sorry for the downscale in resolution, my weak laptop couldn´t handle such high res brush strokes)

Like a Mad Max wasteland. I dig it.

One of my favorites <3 Love the color pallete, everything is atmospheric and well detailes without going too heavy on details. Congrats <3

Thanks!, yeah, I tried not to go into a perfect sharp render, I just hope doesn't affect it.

I love the muddy aesthetic.

This is remarkable!
