Whenever I draw my version of sonic, I always picture him running around on a version of his world that incorporates many different aspects of the series all in one place. I still like to call it "Mobius" because my interpretation of sonic was heavily affected by owning the gamecube sonic mega collection, and having both sonic SATAM and AOSTH available to watch on netflix when I was but a wee lad.

My version of "the planet formerly known as Mobius" takes some inspiration from the blobby landmasses of Sonic Unleashed, and the "fucked up earth" landmasses of Shadow The Hedgehog. I really like that most of the classic sonic games take place on a series of islands in a massive tropical archipelago.

Any weird space objects in the sonic series that I forgot to draw are all conveniently off-frame to the right.
