Well, this is the first drawing I did with my computer tablet-draw-pad-thingy. This creature who I was inspired to make by Spore, has the power to manipulate liquid. I hope you like it.

I agree with Megafones.....

I think the colors you used fit well together but that is about it. Work on lines....smooth and filling in spaces a bit better. Many....many white patches. As for being a beginning artist it is decent and right not is the perfect time to integrate backgrounds. Learn to draw with placement of your figures and you will find your skill will improve faster. I see a lot of great drawings ruined by not having a background. Figures speak better when they are not floating in space. Keep it up!

Don't mind what I just said, your picture is really horrible in fact. There's so much to work on I don't know where to start. Try experimenting with colours and shading to give the thing a bit of depth and work on getting your lines nice and smooth, a bit of background detail wouldn't go a miss either.
