Nice!

It's a really nice render of a Macbook. I like how the surface it's on reflects the light. Increase the size of the keyboard though, It seems to be disproportional to the real deal.

I love how on the dock, there are like 6 Blenders open! :3

gr33bl3r responds:

thanks!

actually its just because mine is of one of the largest macbook pros. the keyboard stays the same size and the computer gets bigger.

and yeah, thats a screenshot of my desktop all cleared out and with the default background. i loooove blender. i swear i have like fifteen builds.

Gimme a 'B'! Gimme an 'E'!

And a "V" and an "E" and an "L" !!
Also, turn up the antialiasing. Looks like it's at 5 right now, I think it needs 11.
Otherwise, it's a simple design, but well done nonetheless.

gr33bl3r responds:

i dunno, i looked at some macbook pros and they looked pretty sharp... maybe not that sharp.

also the antiailiasing with the new render engine in blender is a little screwy... oh well, it is worth it for realtime previews and cuda support. have you tried it? if not you really should, its awesome.

thanks for the feedback.

solid model

its a nice looking model. can the lid close? also if you made the keys individual objects, you might be able to mess with some incandescence to get the keys (and the apple) to glow. also you might want to change the material on the ports so they aren't the same grey as the body.

gr33bl3r responds:

thanks for the review!

yes the lid is rotatable and i can mess with all of the emit values of the keys, the screen and even the apple on the back that you cant see in this picture.

you might be right about the ports. thanks.
